ABOUT HOT YOGA
  • Infrared heat warms your body, like the sun.

  • Air exchange keeps air fresh along with a true HEPA 3 stage air filter that filters out 99.97% of airborne particles down to 0.1 micron, like pollen, dust, and viruses.  This is the reccomended requirement for Covid.

  • Hot yoga helps heat your muscles for a safe approach into the postures.

  • Sweat helps to detox your body by flushing toxins out through your skin.

  • Practicing in a hot room elevates your heart rate and increases your work out.  It increases your mental focus and concentration while providing whole body relaxation.

  • Like all yoga, hot yoga increase muscle tone, builds strength, and improves flexibility. Practicing yoga fosters your overall well-being: physically, mentally and emotionally.

NEW STUDENTS
  • COME to class well hydrated.

  • ARRIVE early to settle peacefully onto your mat; ready your body & mind for practice.

  • ALWAYS advise your teacher before class of injuries so modifications can be offered.

  • BRING water, a mat and a towel for your mat - it gets sweaty! (mat & towel for first class available to borrow if needed)

  • WEAR comfortable clothes for YOU- think of a hot summer's day.  Close fitting athletic sports wear is generally most comfortable.  Cotton becomes heavy with sweat.

  • READ all about our studio so you know what to expect, including our cancellation policy

  • PATIENCE: Have fun with your practice!  It's yoga practice, not yoga perfect.  This is time for YOU to condition your body and mind; leave the rest of the world behind.  Bring a positive attitude, an open mind and your smiling face!
